How Palmvein works
A registration unit, the Palmvein software and our sensor: that’s all you need to install the Palmvein technology.
After registration, the scan of the palmvein structure is provided with a hash code, and in this way your palm is stored securely. Once this is done, users only need to present their hand. The Palmvein software will recognize of the hand by matching it with the stored hash code. When it matches, access is granted.
Registration
All you need to do is place your hand in front of the registration unit. More than 5.1 million reference points in the palm of your hand are registered in a 0,3 second and our intelligent biometric identification software takes care of the rest.
Storage
The data that contains your biometric palm and the patterns of your veins is converted into AES: Advanced Encrypted Standard. This means that it is impossible for third parties to decipher your biometric information.
Usage
Once registered, it’s as easy as placing your hand a few centimeters away in front of a sensor again. Over 5.1 million references check your registered palm. Easy-to-use for eååveryone.
